About Us

Logan Cache Rich Credit Union was founded in 1963 in Smithfield, Utah, to provide financial services to school teachers in Cache Valley. As they grew, the credit union was a modest operation, catering primarily to local workers and their families.

As the decades passed, it became an essential financial resource for the region, with a reputation for personal service. However, as the credit union continued to grow and welcome members from beyond Cache Valley, the original name, "Logan Cache Rich Credit Union," started to feel limiting. It didn't reflect the credit union's expanding reach or its ambition to inspire members to set and achieve higher financial goals.

The credit union's leadership decided to embark on a journey of rebranding. They chose "New Heights Federal Credit Union" as the new name, recognizing that it encapsulated both the aspirations of their members and the direction the credit union was heading. The name change was more than cosmetic; it was a commitment to providing innovative financial services and supporting members as they reached for new financial heights.

The transition to New Heights FCU was embraced by members and the local community. The new name signified a forward-looking approach, emphasizing growth, opportunity, and community values. It reminded everyone that reaching new heights is not just about the destination—it's about the shared journey to get there.
