About the presenter
Elizabeth McMillan, MAPP, is the director of communication for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). She has worked in the transportation industry for 15 years, with experience in positions ranging from public involvement to policy and legislation. She believes that the government can be a positive institution with the opportunity to systemically improve well-being in communities.
McMillan earned a Master’s of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a CliftonStrengths coach, personal trainer and nutrition coach. McMillan teaches that strength is built through resilience of both body and mind. Through the principles of positive psychology, she seeks to “grow the good” both internally at UDOT, among women leaders and in Utah’s communities.

Women In Business (WIB) is a program of the Cache Valley Chamber which elevates professional women with knowledge, connections and resources needed to navigate challenges and achieve success in the workplace. Monthly luncheons and fundraising efforts are overseen by a committee of volunteers who are passionate about supporting women through quality professional development, networking, and scholarships.
