About the presenter

Vaughn Cook

Vaughn R Cook was born in Logan and spent his formative years in Hyrum.  He graduated from Sky View High School and is an honors graduate from Utah State University with a degree in Political Science, Economics, and Business Management.  He has an acupuncture degree from the Oriental Medical Institute of Hawaii and obtained an OMD (Oriental Medical Doctor) degree from the North American Academy of Advanced Asian Medicine.

He is married to Kathryn Carlson, a native of Logan.  They have five children, seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.  They currently live in Mapleton, Utah.

For the last 40 years, Vaughn has worked as a clinician and the developer of various software programs that are used by healthcare providers and wellness advocates in over 100 countries.

As a recognized leader in complementary medicine and related technology he has traveled extensively and taught principles of eastern and western medicine throughout the United States and around the world.
