USU Center for Women and Gender: Nicholas Kristof
Nicholas Kristof is a Pulitzer prize-winning New York Times columnist who advocates for women's rights. A champion of social justice for women, he is best known for his columns focusing on women as weapons of war during the Darfur genocides. He has written several books with his wife Sheryl WuDunn, including the award winning "Half the Sky". He has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey show, A PBS documentary series, and many other television programs. Nicholas Kristof will be speaking on "Sex, Gender, and Politics." Book signing will also be held afterwards.
