NEHMA Family Art Day
Did you know that Cache Valley is home to some of the most polluted air in the country? Join NEHMA and Merrill-Cazier Library staff in making unique rear-view mirror tags to remind drivers in your family about the dangerous effects of idling. Your creativity can spread awareness about air quality in Cache Valley, improving our environment and decreasing health problems associated with poor air quality. And come see the top clean air poster entry finalists for the Cache County High School Clean Air Poster Contest created by students from Logan, Sky View, Ridgeline, InTech, South Campus, and Fast Forward high schools. Eight Grand Prize student winners will be announced, each winning cash prizes ranging from $100 to $250 donated by local businesses and organizations. Winning posters will be displayed in the community for education outreach. While NEHMA is closed for construction, Family Art Days will be held at the Merrill-Cazier Library on USU campus. The event on February 18th will be in the Library Room 101 from 11am-2pm.
