Gaylan Nielson
Gaylan W. Nielson, M.A. helps organizations focus on organizational results by developing strategies and aligning those strategies at the team and personal level.
Currently, he is the CEO of The Work Itself Group, and has been a leader for over 25 years as CEO, President of Apollo Consulting, and a Vice President at FranklinCovey and Shipley Associates.
He co-authored a book, FAKE "WORK", published by Simon & Schuster. It is a groundbreaking, best-selling book that draws on years of practical experience and real-world situations.
He is a trusted business partner with numerous organizations in many different ways as a:
- Strategist, implementation consultant, and process designer for numerous clients;
- Trainer and facilitator for more than 1,500 programs
- Communications expert working on documents, writing, presenting, and communication processes.
He has also worked with clients in many countries such as Singapore, China, Germany, England, France, Egypt, and Nigeria.
He has written plays, stories, poetry, and prize-winning radio plays and documentaries. And, he loves photography. He lives with his wife, Elaine, in Salt Lake City where he writes, hikes, and grows a killer vegetable garden. He has three children and seven grandchildren and admits that grand-parenting is everything it's hyped to be.
