Please join USU Social Work's Transforming Communities Initiative (TCI) for a keynote presentation with Dr. Anna Blau and Laura Mora from International Women’s House in Metro-Atlanta. Dr. Blau and Ms. Mora have over 60 years of combined experience in nonprofit work, the majority of which has been in the domestic violence field. Their organization provides safe haven and supportive services to women and children who are the victims of family violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking, with a focus on immigrant and refugee women and children. Dr. Blau is a former refugee and Ms. Mora is an immigrant – their keynote will touch on their personal stories, their professional work, and how you can make a difference in your community.
