The 2025 Women in Business Thrive Series is a transformative 12-month program, powered by the Cache Valley Chamber, designed to expand and accelerate women's potential. Through high-impact presentations from Utah's top women leaders, focused networking opportunities, and catered lunches, participants will gain the skills and confidence to achieve their goals. Join us as we empower women to lead, innovate, and inspire.
This final workshop will empower you to develop a growth mindset, build resilience, and embrace change as an opportunity for career advancement. You'll learn how Crystal leveraged setbacks as valuable learning experiences, turn challenges into triumphs, and adapt to new situations with confidence. By the end of this workshop, you'll be equipped to navigate your career path with resilience and emerge stronger than ever.

About the presenter
Crystal Maggelet, Chief Executive Officer & Chairwoman of FJ Management
Crystal Call Maggelet is the CEO and Chair of FJ Management Inc., a diversified family business that includes wholly-owned subsidiaries: Maverik, an 800 c-store chain operating throughout 20 states, and Big West Oil, a petroleum refinery located in Salt Lake City. Other family businesses include TAB Bank and Crystal Inn.
In addition to her current board role as Chair of the FJ Management’s Board, she is a director on the Savage Services Board and serves on the Liv Communities Board, Intermountain Health Board, Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the Games, and also the Zions Bank Advisory Board.
She is actively involved in managing the family’s charitable giving through the Call Foundation and the Call to Action Foundation. Since 2007, the foundations have invested more than $55 million to strengthen children and families throughout the West and Midwest. Crystal also co-chairs the Intermountain Health Primary Promise Campaign and is a member of the Sundance Institute Utah Leadership Council.
Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She completed her college education with an MBA from Harvard Business School and has Honorary Doctorates in Business from Utah State University and Weber State University.
In 2018, Crystal won the Ernst and Young Lifetime Achievement regional award and went on to win the national award for Family Business.

Women In Business (WIB) is a program of the Cache Valley Chamber which elevates professional women with knowledge, connections and resources needed to navigate challenges and achieve success in the workplace. Monthly luncheons and fundraising efforts are overseen by a committee of volunteers who are passionate about supporting women through quality professional development, networking, and scholarships.
